Alice in Zombieland

Bed time stories just got a lot cooler in this house. I picked up this gem today."When little Alice follows the Black Rat down into the gaping darkness of an open grave, she falls and falls. And soon finds herself in an undead nightmare of rotting flesh and insanity. Venturing further into this land of zombies and monsters, she encounters characters both creepy and madcap along the way. But there's something else troubling poor Alice: her skin is rotting and her hair is falling out. She's cold. And she has the haunting feeling that if she remains in Zombieland any longer, she might never leave."Buy it!

Tea Party To Die for

In my Internet adventures I have seen some strange things, and done some things I can't quite explain. Some times you run into things that just have to be shared. Not only for the artistic quality that goes into making the product but for the sure camp value. I know that if I received an invitation  to a lovely tea party that included 007's pistol creamers and a "licence to kill"  I could be charmed and perhaps a little frightened. This this would be an offer this girl could never refuse. If you are going to through a "over the top high tea" with style, this is most defiantly the way to go. Avant-garde included.The guns will also come in handy for chatty girls who refuse to pass the sugar.

Toys NOT for tots

I was little I had a few Barbie dolls. All little girls who did know that Barbie "got it on" with Ken, G.I Joe, and all your brothers action figures. You would be a total liar if you say they didn't! Little did I know that Barbie could have taken a walk on a wilder side to the " bad boys of history". At the least had better pillow talk. Here is a line of toys I could get behind. I don't know where you can pick them up, but I am sure seek and ye shall find. If Barbie had had a few good men, she wouldn't have cared Ken left her for Malibu Ken! Enjoy!

Free Tea Party

The Free Tea Party (no has nothing to go with the "Tea Party" political group) is a man named Guisepi. He travels around in his made-over in his short school bus serving free tea! How cool is that? He is serving free tea to anyone who wants a cup. His mission statement is "The Free Tea Party cultivates community and encourages dialogue about peace, environment, and health through actions like serving free tea.". The Free Tea Party's goals are "To bring people of all classes and colors, shapes and sizes, political beliefs and philosophies together in order to foster a connection between those who normally would never have connected in conversation. In this way valuable ideas can be shared and a human face can be put on people who one may have never related to before.". His web site has a great links page and it would seam that you just never know where this bus is going to be but I hope to run into them some time! To date this man in his bus has served over 10,000 cups of free tea. That's a love lot of tea! Like I have always believed drinking a hot cup can bring people together this man is proof that it's true. I love this idea and truly inspired. http://www.freeteaparty.org/

The Literary Gothic

It's time to curl up with a cup-a-tea and check out The Literary Gothic. It's a web site dedicated to classical Gothic literature ( one of my favorite genres). With the long weekend at hand take time to peruse it's content and then go down to your local library and get a stack of knowledge. Or do what I do and go down to the book store and blow a ton of money to help save Borders Books. Any who, it's a great site, check it out! (via Cobwebs) The Literary Gothic
